Marazul owners are afforded an ever-increasing selection of shopping venues, especially with the newly slated shopping complex at the Flamingo Marina. Plans call for marine-related stores, boutiques for villagers and tourists, a grocery store and upscale waterfront restaurants. A movie theater and a variety of additional upscale retailers are being considered as well.

Other shopping venues include the brand new La Plaza, which offers a wonderful selection of boutiques and shops selling high-end fashion, handbags, jewelry and home accessories. Just outside of Santa Cruz in Guaitil, you will discover authentic handmade clay pots. Using the same techniques as their ancestors, the Chorotega Indians, the villagers decorate the pots with natural earth colors and fire them in giant wood-burning ovens. In Playa Hermosa, AquaSport offers a mini-market and liquor store.
